Time to Sew: Simple A-Line Dress and a Toddler Messenger Bag

Image I had a very rare child free day off yesterday so I decided to do a bit of sewing. I had a brilliant time doing a trolley dash in the morning swiping some prints (which really is *the* best part of this job!) and then I set to work. Very pleased with my day’s work I must say!

My little girl looks amazing in red and I adore the Paintbox collection from Michael Miller, co-ordinating the range is super easy and everything looks so amazing together. I made this dress using Butterick B773 pattern.

And in the afternoon I followed this amazing tutorial for a toddler messenger bag from Zaberry. It’s was so clear and really easy to put together. Baby Plush loved it and had great fun putting her mini tea set in and out of it last night.

I used some lightweight denim I had and the elephant print is one of the Ann Kelle Urban Zoologie range, I love the new safari animals!
