I love the idea behind this book, I mean who doesn’t want to whip up a quilt that’s quick and easy? If you’re not familiar with Lynne’s work, this is her second quilting book, her first book was the fantastic  500 Quilt Blocks: The Only Quilt Block Compendium You’ll Ever Need co- written with Kerry Green from Very Kerry Berry. As well as being a published author Lynne designs many of the free quilt patterns from Makower and also helps out Dashwood Studio with their quilting needs so really she’s a bit of a quilting rock star.

The book contains 12 stunning contemporary quilts and by using large quilts blocks these quilts do come together fast. The book also includes 8 smaller projects including a table runner and pillow case to name a few.

Here’s a sneaky peek of some of the quilts, just scroll down past the eye candy to see how you can enter the giveaway to win a signed copy of this fantastic book.

    1. Can’t remember if I have already sent this but this book would be brilliant as I am a modern quilter. Thank you.

  1. looks great, the gypsy cushion would be first project I think, have just the fabrics I would use in my stash

  2. I’m fairly new to quilting having recently been forced to retire due to ill health. This book looks perfect for a beginner like me.

  3. I am a beginner at patchwork and quilting, bit my first 3 project worked and I am hooked. I would like to make the sparkling diamond quilt, as it doesn’t look too daunting.

  4. Fantastic giveaway. I love the gypsy cushion and would love to make it in Japanese fabric which is my favourite.

  5. This sounds like it’s just up my street! I’m in love with quilting but still very much a beginner. Quick and easy would enable me to make progress much quicker! And I promise to show it to the ladies at the Scartho Sewing Club in Grimsby where I have learnt everything I know so far and encourage them all to buy a copy?!?!!

  6. I an just starting out on my quilting journey I am starting my measuring and cutting out tomorrow I would love your book for inspiration xx

  7. I would love to have this book as I am fairly new to quilting and the patterns are clear and appear relatively simple to follow; ideal for my requirements.

  8. Looks great for some much needed inspiration, not just for beautiful quilts but wall hangings too.

  9. This book is such an inspiration to a beginner like me. So many wonderful ideas…so little time. I’ve just retired after 38 years of teaching and this is going to be my raisin d’etre for the next few months! 🤗🕰No more clock-watching for me!

  10. I’ve bought the fabric from your good selves (of course) but now I need that perfect project to use them in! I’d love to win a copy 🙂

  11. The book would be such a good tool. Techniques and pictures to help. I’d love to win this too. Good luck to everyone.

  12. It’s nice to see a book with patterns like look achievable. So many of my craft books end up as aspiration fodder, but I never get around to attempting the projects.
